Hi there! I’m Helena Yágüez, a Certified Health and Wellness Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) in New York. I specialize in Whole-Person Health and helping women create and sustain healthy habits that last.
I’m here to support women ready to make real changes – transforming their eating and exercise habits to regain control, feel empowered, and be truly happy in their own skin.
I believe wholeheartedly that creating healthy habits is one of the most valuable investments we can make in ourselves. These habits are the foundation of a life filled with physical, mental, and emotional balance, freeing us to focus on what really matters and achieve our personal goals.
A habit is a behavior or action repeated consistently; it’s an automatic response to a specific situation.
Living Healthy and Happy means recognizing our bodies’ needs and respecting their limits. To do this, living with intention becomes our motto, and making choices aligned with what we truly want becomes our guide.
What drives me is helping you uncover why, no matter how hard you try, those healthy habits just don’t seem to stick. Maybe you start with all the energy in the world, feeling like you’re finally on track, but then, almost without realizing, you slip back into old routines. I’m here to help you spot those small signs that signal a backslide and have an action plan ready for those tricky moments.
I believe in bio-individuality – that we’re each unique – and that true health is multidimensional. What works wonders for me might not work for you.
Most people think of health as just diet and exercise. And while those are key, health is so much more than that.
To me, health has four main pillars: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. These areas are deeply connected, and seeing them as a whole allows us to find fresh, personalized ways to reach our goals and feel our best.
